when Greggson found the strain that undid all mankind
he tried his best to just not let it spread
but Greggson was too late, for he had gone half-blind
and so he called the CDC and said:

can't you see what we've got here? i'll repeat if it's not clear
to "wait and see" would be insane!
don't you see what the facts mean? what we need is a vaccine
we need a way to kill the strain

or it could be the end of us
mankind is circling the drain
don't let this be the end of us

after just a week, millions had gone blind
the CDC was nothing but a joke
but Greggson was a geek and so he went online
he hooked his camera up and then he spoke:

people you need to believe me, no this ain't gonna be on your TV
listen to me and i'll explain
it's real bad, as millions of you know, but some of you will be immune though
and your blood can help me cure the strain

or it could be the end of us
mankind is circling the drain
